Temporary Regulatory Markers Issued for Area Bridge Construction on the Osage River
The Missouri State Water Patrol would like to make boaters on the Osage River in the Tuscumbia area aware of a potential navigation hazard. Barges and other construction equipment will be moored in the area of the new Highway 17/52 bridge location for the next several months. Permits have been issued for temporary regulatory buoys to assist the public in recognizing and avoiding these hazards. Boaters should be extremely cautious while operating in the area of the bridge construction.
