Summary :
Subjects where a half mile down stream from the Highway PP access where they stopped to eat lunch. Mr. Smith stood up in the boat and it capsized throwing both men into the water. The men were trying to put on life jackets when the one Mr. Smith was trying to put on floated away. They clung to the side of the boat for about 40 minutes until a Mr. Jenson and Mr. Baker came by in another boat. They towed the victims to shore. Mr. Smith was confirmed deceased on scene. Mr. Warner was then transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital for treatment of hypothermia.
